A design project with @the.writes.parenting. A community that wants to make a difference in the lives of young parents by offering support through engagements, events and education. A "Super Dad" theme was chosen for this postcard design to celebrate Happy Father's Day on a Saturday, 20 June 2021. This design was printed without colors on the postcards. They were given to families to participate in a coloring competition through "Zoom" meeting, a virtual platform for meet up during this pandemic period. A total of 150 submission.
My take away in a colored version. I have chosen a cool and light refreshing color to pair with the bold font and the heavy outline from the illustration. This design features a super dad sending his kids to school while making his way to work.
Below is a short clip of the submissions that were captured during the event. I'm glad my illustration could be part of this. Lets hope for more requests in the future.
